The
Elegie Quartet
EQ was founded in April of
2001 by four music students from the University of
California, Irvine. The ensemble performs regular at events in
concerts in southern
California and is working on their first recording of works by Beethoven
and Dvorak.
Arrowbear
Music Archives
Arrowbear Music Camp was
founded in 1942 by Fred Ohlendorf, and the camp
is located on a hundred acres in the San Bernardino national forest
between
Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear Lake. The archive is an unofficial site run
by
Gene Wie, band/orchestra conductor from the 2001/2002 sessions.
The
Unofficial San Diego Civic Youth Orchestra
The San Diego Civic Youth
Orchestra has provided orchestral traning at all
levels for young musicians in the San Diego County area for nearly fifty
years. This unofficial site is a collection of photographs and memoirs
from
the ensembles 1996 and 1998 international tours.
PSIBELIUS
Gene Wie, a.k.a. Psibelius
is best known as the former editor of TraxWeekly,
the music scene e-zine that ran from 1997-1999. Though no longer an
active
participant in the electronic music scene, his last few works in the
tracker
medium as well as links to current scene activities are listed here.
